Corbynomics: A Dystopia

Imagine the polls had been correct and we now had a lab/snp coalition.
Then imagine Ed Milliband had had to step down for some reason, for example poor health or a scandal.
We would now have a Corbyn govt. I wonder in that case if those who had voted labour would all be pleased about the govt they had?
I don't think this would be the case. Had Ed been leading a coalition government (and subsequently was involved in a fatal incident with a bacon sandwich), then the left side of the party wouldn't be able to argue that the New Labour project had ended."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

Corbyn will never get good press in the MSM. There's no point even hoping so. They've kept it up against the SNP and Salmond/Sturgeon for eons now. Every wrong move, or even the suggestion of one, slight mistake or even breathing the wrong way will be plastered and slanted to the max all over the newspapers wholesale. With the BBC and Sky news joining in.
If there are any savvy Corbyn supporters out there with web experience, they should be setting up blogs, forums and places to go online instead asap... in order to keep that grassroots momentum and motivation going. Corbyn's going to need it I'm afraid. He won't get a fair hearing anywhere else.
Someone pointed out on one of his facebook posts regarding a recent interview, that the MSM are constantly painting him as a swivel eyed insane extremist.
This attracts a lot of attention so people then watch his interviews on TV and find him to be measured and reasonable. At the moment I think all publicity is good publicity because the establishment is making itself look ridiculous. For a change.
It's all a bit irrelevant anyway, the genie is out of the bottle IMO. They can character assassinate Corbyn all they want, but the politics that people are attracted to isn't going to go away now. And the screams of outrage on the MSM are a good sign that the establishment is as scared as hell.0 -

More a snake out of a basket case than a genie out of a bottle.
Who would have thought The Labour Party had been infiltrated to such an extent. Forewarned is forearmed.
Another SDP on the horizon?Union, not Disunion

It has been infiltrated, but not by Corbyn's. Red Tories are running and scurrying like rats from a gravy train. A gravy train that is about to be cleared of rats.0 -

I seriously doubt it. The internet makes it seem that there is a tremendous amount of support for far left policies, but when it comes down to the crunch it turns out that it's just an internet active, vocal, fairly well off minority. Most working class people, who the left claim to represent, vote for moderate policies which allow them to keep more of their money, rather than distribute it.
EDIT: Oh, I misread your post, apologies.0 -
