Meanwhile back in LaLaLand:
The Shadow Justice Secretary is against pretty much every policy announced by Mr Corbyn so far and describes prosecuting Mr Blair for war crimes as " a fantasy"
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/Jeremy_Corbyn/11878514/Jeremy-Corbyn-cabinet-minister-attacks-new-Labour-leaders-policies.html
And Mr Corbyn's shadow Foreign Minister prepares to vote against Mr Corbyn to back air strikes against ISIL (or whatever they are called this week):
http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/sep/20/labour-could-back-syria-strikes-despite-corbyn-opposition-says-hilary-benn
Oh and the Scottish branch of the Labour Party could go to the next election standing on a different set of policies regarding independence than the Labour Party in England and Wales!!!
It's comedy chaos.0 -

Not as much as David Cameron and the front page of the Daily Mail today.... Lord Ashcroft's telling ALL in his new book. Corbyn's the least of his worries over the next few weeks. My goodness, Ashcroft hasn't held back. Drugs, sexual excesses and dead pigs ? :eek:It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

Yes, I'll happily share the popcorn with you on this one Clapton...:oincludes claims Cameron once put a "private part of his anatomy" into a dead pig's mouth.
Anyway, back to Corbyn and his renationalisaton of the rail network. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

Thanks but I don't do popcorn
but surely this just MUST be a reason for another referendum0 -
Stone me! Student in 'smoked pot' shocker.
In other news slightly tipsy couple allow friends to take drugs at a party in their home despite some vague misgivings.
Back to matters of substance rather than tittle tattle about substances. The whole Corbyn thing seems to be coming off the rails rather fast. I don't see how it is tenable for the shadow cabinet to be split on so many issues of substances and that Labour could go to the polls with two different policies on Scottish independence!0 -

Not quite, but it's the biggest laugh I've had on Twitter for ages. The meme's are hilarious. Particularly the one's with Miliband and the bacon sarnie which I wouldn't post here. After a relaxing Sunday the PM logs into twitter to catch up with the news
In all seriousness though... this isn't good for Cameron. The DM is serialising it as well. Corbyn can have a few days off I think. It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

Corbyn and others have taken a load of grief for comments and things he said and did decades ago in the headlines. Cameron isn't off limits either. And I don't think by the sounds of it, it was just one party. But we'll see tomorrow what's in store.
No I don't think it's tenable either, the Labour party split on issues. But I can assure you that Scottish Labour really is just a 'branch office'. The cannot influence the UK Labour party on things like Trident, no matter what they claim.. it's a reserved matter. Another referendum isn't an issue at the present time.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.

Hardly a pressing topic at the moment is it. One suspects to fill the airwaves before the part conference. As a topic which won't cause a split in Labour ranks.0 -

I was trying to steer things back on topic through wiping away my tears of laughter. I suspect David Cameron will be making the headlines for the next few weeks. Not Corbyn.
Labour will have to split. Or else depose Corbyn if the party won't get behind him. But that in turn would cause huge ructions with their grassroots. But Ashcroft's 'revelations' seem just as valid, as the endless headlines over someone not singing the National Anthem don't you think ?Not David Cameron â€@NHSApathy
Had a pig of a day. This is a ham-fisted attempt to penetrate my private life. What sort of swine would reveal this?It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
