Do you think the conservatives would have done things differently, they were promising to match Labour spending.
Could they have done a worse job? Is that even possible? In 13 years they did so much damage. Whar were people thinking voting for them?Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you.0 -

I remember the time well, all those new schools and hospitals all well funded I seem to recall. As the parent of two young children at the time, it was hell!
I shudder to think what our vital national infrastructure would look like now if we'd had another 13 years of the penny-pinching and unambitious Tories from 1997 onwards.
I have reservations about Corbyn, but at least he's offering an alternative to the joyless and depressing life we're leading presently under the Tories.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

It is a synonym for capitalism, globalism, elite rule and ruling-class privilege.
JC does seem to be signing up for mass migration (gloabalisation) - he does also seem to be part of a ruling elite that seems out of touch with real people. So some might see as signing up for Neoliberalism - in truth there is little agreement about what the term means.
Redefine the term to swerve the issue...& Jeremy Corbyn is now seen as part of a 'ruling elite'.........really!0 -

No evidence regarding the Labour Party membership then!0
