Makes you wonder who are the more gullible, Corbyn supporters or SNP supporters.

I don't know, but the SNP are now in control of Scotland.

Corbyn launches a blistering attack on Cameron and receives a standing ovation at the TUC conference!

He could have broken wind noisily and have got the same.
Finally the Labour Party is opposing poverty again

Opposing what they caused. How ironic.

Is indeed good to see some real opposition in Westminster. But rather like the other thread and the SNP... He's going to be relying on Tory rebellions a lot re current proposals like the benefit cap, and a host of other things. And more importantly, his own MP's need to get behind him too. :(
The government has comfortably won a Commons vote on a controversial proposal to cut working tax credits.

MPs approved the cuts by 325 votes to 290, a majority of 35. While the government was expected to win the vote, the victory was bigger than anticipated given that the Democratic Unionist party had pledged to vote with the Scottish National party and Labour against the plans.

There had also been speculation that five Conservative MPs would vote against the government, which has a working majority of 16. But in the event, only two did so: David Davis and Stephen McPartland.

I wonder how far his 'media blanking' thing will go. Part of me wants to laugh and I think 'good for you !'..every time I see him pointedly ignore Norman Smith, Sky news and others while they shout questions at him. The other thinks, that if he doesn't start filling in the blanks and getting his messages across. They'll simply do it for him. Perhaps far worse than he's already been quoted out of context etc.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

Corbyn alleged to have not sung the National Anthem at the Battle of Britain do this morning. Bang out of order if true, but bleddy hell this fella is principled. We've not seen his like for a while!

Corbyn bounce in full steam. Labour up by 3 points at 28,000 new members since Saturday.

I am enjoying watching the anger and bemusement of the right wing press as they are completely dismissed by Corbyn, whose popularity grows by the day.

Labour up one, well within the margin of error for polling:

  • And without warning Corbyn opens fire with a blistering and unexpected salvo against Sturgeon! She ducks but the SNP mainsail is hit. Splintery bits of wood, rigging, and a sail are falling down around the SNP captain who is forced into evasive action.

We have but trauma has suppressed the memory.
