  • Like a good moneysaver I am wondering if there is a way to make free money out of Corbyn. Apparently this latest score is just one point above the worst Labour score ever, which was achieved by Gordon Broon in about 2008. There must be a way to bet on Corbyn achieving the lowest poll rating ever?

Makes your day doesn't it......... What have I achieved today.....I've thought of another hate fuelled comment about Jeremy Corbyn to post on the money saving expert forum Well done.:rotfl:

How you can defend Shami Chakrabati is beyond me - sending your kids to an £18,000 a year school, making derogatory comments about "Essex Men" whilst having an air that you are someone morally superior to Tories has to make Chakrabati the world's biggest hypocrite.

......or maybe not - that sneering, morally superior, Emily Thornbury has also made derogatory comments about "white van man"....she must be up for the accolade of world's biggest hypocrite too...

The left appear to think that all forms of discrimination and racism are awful - apart from that which targets Caucasian men.

Hysterical communist hypocrisy, not a vote winner in the UK.

My in-laws (former USSR residents!) laugh about such ideologies. Societies where everyone is equal, in practice means that some are more equal than others, usually dependent on your ability to pay rather than do.

just worth repeating the quote from the labour shadow home secretary although the usual racists will defend her
But in her newspaper column, she had written of the 30 Finnish nurses at Homerton Hospital in Hackney: `I'm sure these women are charming. But they are basically here to improve their English and are unlikely to give the British health service a lifetime's commitment.

`I am surprised that they choose to bring in blonde, blue-eyed girls from Finland, instead of nurses from the Caribbean who know the language and understand British culture and institutions.

`And are Finnish girls, who may never have met a black person before, let alone touched one, best suited to nursing in multi-cultural Hackney?'

Her solid support for the private schools is also worth applauding and good to know she doesn't think is it in anyway discriminates against black afrocaribbean children (well not her son obviously)

And it's good to know that buying privilege over working class kids who can't afford such an education is perfectly acceptable....but not for Tories of course....

....Diane said that her son's elite education was the making of him....well I'm delighted for her....

I have quite a happy disposition after reading the last few posts.

What an utter shambles they are.

This could only get better if RT chimes in to try to defend it, like watching a bloke try to push water uphill.

But not their kids - they will have the most elite education money can buy.

Oh my days they don't make socialists like they used to.

OK, it's clear that Corbyn isn't persuading lifelong Tories to vote labour but doesn't anyone worry about the lack of effective opposition?

I wouldn't class myself as a lifelong Conservative voter. In my past I've voted Lib-Dem a few times and I think Labour once, they don't often stand in my constituency.

Yes it is worrying that there is no effective opposition. At this point I would welcome back Ed Miliband/Tony Blair/David Miliband. Owen Smith was a poor choice of candidate I feel.

    Blame Jeremy.

    Blame Momentum.

Blame RuggedToast (edit: and the rest of the Labour muppet-ship).

    No, to be honest.
