why would there be a problem with a Labour Leader that
-is a pacifist and doesn't believe in self defence
-refuses to condemn the people who exploded bombs in Warrington high street, or in the two pubs in Birmingham or the Hotel in Brighton or the other atrocities
-who maybe thinks opening the mines might be a good thing
-who gathers round him people openly racist
Those points would be a problem if they were actually true.0 -

I get the feeling that they've realised that eagle has less than zero chance so there'll be a handy withdrawal from her in the coming days/weeks.
First soundbites from smith are already looking to appease the more rational JC-loving, left-leaning members (e.g shift the focus from 'JC is the devil' to 'JC is really lovely but he's pals with McDonnell who's the evil mastermind')0 -

To be fair, 'no amount of evidence' is exactly what was supplied with the original post.
On the mines issue, he actually said "The last deep mine coal mines in South Wales have gone but it’s quite possible that in future years coal prices will start to go up again around the world and maybe they’ll be a case for what is actually very high quality coal, particularly in South Wales, being mined again.”
However re-opening mines was not his policy. "It was one question about one mine, I'm not in favour of reopening the mines."
He said he wanted a "sustainable energy development policy, a green development in all aspects of energy generation".
Attacking government policy he said “we discourage the growth of self-generation of electricity through solar and it seems we’re still besotted with the idea that the most important thing is the big scheme, whereas in fact it’s a holistic approach [we need] which is about basically everybody using less,” and decentralised, locally owned generation.0 -

Examples of the gentler kind of politics Corbyn and his awful sidekick McDonnell are introducing!0 -
