Thank you posh*spice. Very kind.0 -
This forum just seems to be visited by property owning, Tory voting, middle class, middle aged men.
Maybe if any of you stepped outside your bubbles of narrow self interest for a moment and took a moment to imagine what it might be like for the millions of people who don't fit into this comfortable bracket, then you might understand why Corbyn is so popular.
For a great many people Corbyn offers a genuine alternative to both the Tory Party and the PLP. Neither of which gives two figs about them.
The more you lot scream and tantrum about Corbyn the more we want to vote for him.
I used to think like this when I was a student, and then I grew up. Corbyn is still living his student days, only now he has a lot of light on him and he loves it.....theres no way he will give up the leadership, not because he believes in what he is doing or that he wants to be the next PM.....he is just a sad, jam making, leftie fool who is enjoying his 15 minutes of fame......meanwhile the only credible opposition is destroyed and the tories can look forward to many more years in power.....way to go jez.0 -

I get the feeling that they've realised that eagle has less than zero chance so there'll be a handy withdrawal from her in the coming days/weeks.
First soundbites from smith are already looking to appease the more rational JC-loving, left-leaning members (e.g shift the focus from 'JC is the devil' to 'JC is really lovely but he's pals with McDonnell who's the evil mastermind')
Eagle is gone. Let battle commence!0 -

JC is a decent fellow who says what a lot of people think.
Why are you lot all so anti him?0 -

Partly because he refuses to condemn the IRA bombers that placed bombs in Warrington High ST., Birmingham pubs and Brighton and other places that killed an maimed.
He is also happy to associate with racists like Abbott and to stand on platforms with people who openly wish to kill lgbt people and to describe it as an honour.
Some may consider him 'decent' and many do not.0 -

From what I can see Mr Corbyn is an abject example of a left-winger that makes cause with any sort of violent lunatic regardless of their actions because they're leftists too.
Personally I'm against Mr Corbyn because I have a deep seated hatred of Communism and I believe Mr Corbyn to be a Communist. However I have some sympathy with the view that Mr Corbyn supports mass murdering terrorists and so should be denounced for that too.
Do you support Mr Corbyn despite being a supporter of murderers and a crazed Communist or because he's a supporter of murderers and a crazed Communist out of interest?0 -
Good grief. I hadn't realised I had set up my stall with terrorists and rabid communists.
I presume someone has alerted the police to have him arrested? Or is it that actually these allegations are all a bit baseless?0 -

Being a Communist isn't illegal AIUI and nor should it be IMHO. I'm not allowed to say what I think of Communists but it isn't a very nice word.
Supporting terrorists is a bit more problematic legally, again AIUI, but he seems to get away with it.
Out of interest do you support the PLO and/or the IRA? Vis-a-vis the Commies what do you think about the tens of millions killed in the name of that horrible ideology?0
