given enough time for the reasoning and logic to come out.

not forgotten but the effect will have filtered through, and if, as they hope, it leads to a stronger work based economy, and not children starving on the streets, the general population will not see them as the monsters some of the press are making them out to be...

Is it just me or does anyone else think it's weird that CND now has a Vice President who is in favour of nuclear weapons?

I suppose it's no stranger than a vegan shadow agriculture minister.

I think a new word needs to be invented, something like bewierdering to describe what's going on.
Labour's Jeremy Corbyn to become CND vice-president
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is to become the vice-president of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND).
It comes despite the party's policy to support renewing the Trident nuclear weapons system remaining unchanged at the recent Labour conference.
Mr Corbyn was also criticised by many of his MPs for saying he would never use nuclear weapons if he became PM.
However, CND said Mr Corbyn was stepping down as its vice-chairman because of his "increased workload".
Mr Corbyn is due to address CND activists at a private session on Saturday afternoon, a CND spokesman said.
So in the first para Corbyn is Mr Vice President, in the 4th para he is not.

I wonder if confusion is infectious.

Perhaps his appointment is a deliberate stroke of genius to allow his juxtaposed position to facilitate a devil advocate approach to driving strategy.

Or maybe he's just a bit old and confused.
Left is never right but I always am.

    1st para

    vice-president

    4th para

    vice-chairman

chairman does work, president is just a figurehead
