Do you know, tonight I'm going to make some dinner, have a lovely bubble bath, and just relax with my sudoku book and chill out. 6 whole weeks ahead, bliss :D:D

Well that didn't go quite as planned - I'd forgotten I'd promised ds we'd go and get him some new trainers as his school shoes are the only shoes that fit him at the moment. So, £60 spent in Sports Direct on some trainers, some flip-flops and new socks ready for back to school ;) then we popped in to Monsoon and I got 2 new dresses for me when I go back to school, reduced to £35 in total :T I also returned the t-shirts to Next that I'd bought ds as he didn't like the colours, so £12 back on my card in there. Finally we nipped in to Sainsburys and got some salad, milk and a few bits and spent another tenner there. Money seems to be just disappearing very quickly right now, I will get it all under control once we're broken up :D

Morning all, so day one of the holidays :) My goal for the six weeks is to shift a stone. I've put even more weight on over the last couple of weeks, enough is enough, I'm sick of being puffed out, of having no clothes that fit me ....

So, 10,000 steps a day minimum, stick to my calorie goal and start getting back to the gym ;)

Luckily it's hay here this morning so I am going to do some tidying and cleaning for a bit before it gets too hot and then I'll probably go for a decent walk later on when it cools down again, I'm not keen on it when it's too hot.

I wish you luck and am sure you will shift that stone. I want to lose a stone before my friends wedding at the start of October. It's early days but I am doing really well so far.

I know I have mentioned it before but I would really recommend the app 'my fitness pal', it's what's helped me the most.

Florence - I've just re started using that. It's the only way I can control my calories.

Happy holidays Benben - we're in until Friday!

Hey sounds like I've got a few of you with me on this :j :j
So, this morning ds and I have taken the dog up the forest, we had a good walk, stopped at a tea-rooms where ds had an amazing looking bacon sandwich, I was good and just had a cup of tea (with sweetener).

Florence I do use MFP, I found it brilliant last year when I lost weight, I just took my eye off the ball, got stressed at work and put it all back on again.

We stopped and got some bits for lunch on the way back and have just had a lovely ham salad and a yoghurt. I've done just over 9,000 steps so far, I'll probably potter for a couple of hours til it cools down again then we'll go down the beach later. Good luck everyone, please keep updating here how you are getting on :D
