I've just seen too many despondent posters with the 'where do I go from here, I have no case' mind set after an IAS loss. Far better to be happily ignoring debt collectors and most cases never go to court.

There needs to be a justification for a "yes" or a third option words to the effect of "Yes, I know it will be rejected and am ready for the letters that will follow!"

Do we just need to make it much clearer than an IAS appeal is almost certain to fail?

Vehicle Control Services LTD I looked on the BPA website to find this company also now trading as Flashpark Ltd

I think you'll find that it is Vehicle Control Solutions that are Flashpark. This company will have given your neighbour a mickey mouse pack of tickets and they will hide behind a bush, take a pic and then email it to Flashpark who sends out threatening letters.
Can anyone offer an advice now ?

Do a bit more reading and check the details carefully. Also go along to a Flashpark court case and sit in and listen to what goes on.

PM me and I will send you details of their next case close to you so you can see them in the flesh.

You can trust IamEmanresu. Re forthcoming PPC court cases if there's one coming up near you, he will know. You can rock up and watch.

    Hi guys,

I was thinking that it would be useful to maybe have a sub-forum for IAS as many people get easily confused with all of the information which varies depending on the member of the PPC. Also might be worth having a section of 'winning' appeals as the newbie thread in my view is a little bit disjointed and can be confusing to follow.

Also... finally I want to appeal to the IAS, can people give me some honest feedback to my letter that I will send to them shortly, should I make any changes in your view?

I have viewed a number of other posts and decided I want to fight these jokers, I have compiled my letter for the IAS, I know they may still 'lose' at this second stage but I'm happy to go all the way with these idiots to illustrate how incompetent these companies (and the wardens who give out the tickets actually are).

Can people give me some honest feedback and let me know if I should add/remove anything, please note I will add my real name and address to the real thing (I'm not really called Spongebob Squarepants lol)

@playaz - Please start your own thread rather than simply adding a comment on the end of this one.

Sadly, the chances of a sub-forum of a sub-forum is unlikely and, frankly, unnecessary. Many of the issues - and certainly the legalities - are shared by all PPC's.

My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

Sometimes you'll land in that magic 20% of allowed appeals

Where does the 20% come from. Can anyone validate this by pointing to the source?

Seems this thread is short on facts and long on opinion.

    Here's why NOT to appeal:

    1. It is simply not true that they wouldn't dare put one of Skippy's adjudications in front of a real judge. PPC's are filing claims against folk who have lost IAS appeals - and taking it all the way to a hearing.

    2. Whilst one could easily argue in front of a real judge that Skippy's adjudication is inadmissible because it is anonymous, the appellant's submissions to Skippy are not anonymous and will be used in court against the defendant in every way that Gladstone's (or whatever other gutter solicitors it might be) can think of.
