I had an early finish booked today to drop off my dbs & righ to work evidence off. I'm a bit cautious about posting these things off.
First time I've been to the building as the interview was held elsewhere, it much better than current building I work in, as I'd expect really.

All of a sudden it hit me, I'll be there in a month or two. Then the nerves kicked in:eek:

Can't believe I'm actually leaving.... out of choice too.

Hope I've made the right decision :undecided

I'm sure you'll be fine - always a wibbly stage but you had good reasons for your choice and you've thought through all the issues already. You're well prepared for a move onwards and upwards!

Spent time today wrapping things up today at work, hard copy contracts all scanned on. I have thousands of emails I need to make sure I've stored on the right files incase needed after I leave. I'm good at notes and keeping records up todate, but I'm terrible at deleting emails 'just in case' that's going to bite me in the backside now as I spend my last few weeks deleting. Email hoarder I am:eek:

My first job will be easy to wrap up as I'm not taking on intensive cases knowing I won't be there to continue support. My second job though is reactive so that will carry on the intensive workload to the day I leave otherwise my poor replacement will have an almighty headache when they settle in.

Nerves went after a good night's sleep. I'm as prepared as I can get, so I'm going to allow myself to get a little excited.

A good thing about this job, working under a different council will widen our shared ownership opportunities, they seem to build more houses and have a lot planned in next few years. The council we live under are just building flats now so the only houses that come up are resale and not very often.

We think we should be in a position to reserve a place by Easter next year.... I can't believe I'm actually saying that :j:j:T:T:)

Work clear out going well, I've deleted quite a few emails alot being 'fyi' just incase I needed to remember something.

I've sorted out my barely used bank account stopped payments going in so I'll get that closed down.

I'm dithering on a cashback account for utilities so nothing applied for now.

Ooh I better update quidco before I close that bank account!

We've been for a drive round the town I'll be working in. Spotted key places I will go to as part of my job. Walked around the town centre and tested another route home that I was happier with.

It will be trial an error in rush hour but I want a few more trips at different times so I feel confident enough to detour if I need to.
