Sounds like the perfect day (apart from the footie) lol"These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0

Had a lovely day, then my DD came back after taking her dog out really upset, he has been attacked my another dog. Thankfully apart from his ear which has a couple of cuts he seems ok. DD is still slightly shaken up as she went flying in to get the other dog off without thinking about her own safety (which I would have done as well if I had been there).
We are both quite upset by it, although the pooch, who has just eaten all of his dinner, is now snoozing on the rug by the fire.
Hope every ones day has been less eventful than this, or more eventful in a good wayAugust 2010 debt amount £41596

Up early this morning to check on the pooch, and thankfully he is doing fine. His ears do not look too bad so am cleaning them with salt water to try and keep them clean.
Have updated my budget, I am finding YNAB slightly addictive and keep fiddling with it!!! I don't have any more money to play with I just keep moving it around.
So my goals for this week are:
1. Keep avoiding the coffee shops and take the shiny new travel mug my hubbie bought me to work instead. :j
2. Take a pack lunch every day, I waste so much money buying lunch every day so this is an area I could make significant savings
3. Keep tracking my spending so I know where every penny goes
4. Round down my bank account at the end of every day to my rainy day fund
I think thats enough for the week!
Hope every one has a great day (even if the weather is pants)

Hi Sambuca
So sorry to hear abiut your dog but glad he is ok. we had exactly the same a few weeks ago. My dog got attacked for no reason. Had a few lumps taken out of him but luckily after a few hours in the vet he was fine. So scary though. Now is is very wary of other dogs he thinks they are all going to bite him so he gets on rhe defensive first. Hes never been like that. The person did pay the vet bill though. No questions. Police said nothing they can do because it never bit a human
Anyway well done on keeping on top of your budget. I too will be rounding down accounts today and see if I can find a little extra.
Good luck and have a good daySP 9#531=£620/SP 10 # 531=?PDBX 2016 #2 = £16,766.67/£12,000

Hi 12 month.
It's awful isn't it, he's only 18 months old. My last dog was like yours, went on the defensive after being attacked, it changed his personality. I am hoping it won't happen with this one as luckily he wasn't badly hurt and fought back !!
Anyway, here's to a good week for the money saving for us both

Poor pooch and I hope your DD has recovered from the ordeal. I don't have dogs but once staffie ran into our kitchen and grabbed one of our cats, frightened the life out of me but thankfully she was OK. Gives you such a shock though.
I was looking at YNAB last night. Am I right in thinking that you download it onto your PC and also your phone? Totally thick with these things."These things take time but I know that I'm the most inept that ever stepped"0 -
Hi there is a light.
Thank you, it was a shock but thankfully he's ok. Yes, I have YNAB on my home laptop, work pc and phone. It all syncs via dropbox and seems to work well. I would say take advantage of the free trial and give it a go, there's nothing to lose !August 2010 debt amount £41596

Glad all pooches and cats are ok.
YNAB is pretty amazing, I am now addicted. Also great as a student they give membership until the end of the year.0
