Oil anaysis on my car using MOTORcheckUP kit

The main dealer and the handbook states that the gearbox oil is 'life long.' There was nothing wrong with my gearbox so I didn't see the need in changing the oil, except makes the shifts smoother. Had I not changed it, I highly doubt anything detrimental would have happened to the transmission, except for rougher gear changes.
Will post a pic up this week on the 175,000 mark. Okay not that close to 200k but still close enough. I'm currently on 174 934 miles...
So it's not got to 200k, maybe it's time you did the custard test.0 -
On my way back to work this evening I'll post up a pic.
Wow, you 'Big 4' management consultants work some funny hours. You want to join a proper consultancy, strictly 9-5 for me (unless I've not got much on, then I just work when I feel like it).
Mind you, does KFC count as one of the 'Big 4'? And is a chicken-fryer really consulting?0 -

get a grip BeenThroughItAll. Don't forget you did once own BMW M3 and I am pretty confident you must in excess of 120 mph in that car.0 -
UPDATE:
Just had my engine oil and gearbox oil changed today using Gulf Formula GVX 5w30 (VW 507 00 spec oil) and the Fuchs Sinofluid FE 75 (2.9 litres).
Engine feels the same but the gearbox, WOW, what a difference! The old gearbox oil was all gunky like tar and I'm not surprised considering its been there for nearly 200k miles. Gear changes now feel a lot more slick and smooth between changes..like a brand new! I should also expect a very slight bump in MPG as the transmission should run more efficiently with thew new oil.
Would like to know how that happened?
If a gearbox has separate oil to the engine, then there are NO contaminants that can get into the gearbox oil to cause is to go bad.
Typically most gearboxes never need a change of oil, just the occasional top up where oil has been lost either through it's breather or over time through various seals/gaskets.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

I believe it bought a used E36 M3 at the time outright in cash. I know BeenThroughItAll would never lease a car0

Has anyone else noticed how easy Dark Matter's alters are easy to spot by the way they don't deny the accusations, they simply carry on with the thread.
If it was another troll or an innocent person they would naturally reply with 'no I'm not DM' or 'I have no idea what you're talking about'. All his alters just ignore all accusations and continue to spout their nonsense. This one is a perfect example.
Hobby definitely required for DM with the time to create these personas and replies.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -

God, not this again. What has my previous ownership got to do with anything?
FYI, I had my M3 and later my M5 to the limiter at ~155MPH, but only legally.
As I've said before, I don't drive on the road like a !!!!, owning nice cars doesn't make one a 'thug' - we've been through that.0
