I called an 0902 number last night and immediately hung up when a recorded message said that the (mobile) call WOULD cost £6. But when I checked my bill, just that few seconds actually DID cost me £6 .. i.e. it wasn't a warning message giving me any option: I'd been charged just for dialling the number. How is that fair? Shouldn't there be legislation to enforce such people to give the public an option to either go ahead (and be charged the stated premium rate) or to hang up (e.g. for a nominal much lower rate)?0
