What you might call ghost cancellations.
The same thing has happened to us twice. In both cases, having received no response from ECP within 35 days, we sent them a chaser letter. ECP replied to tell us that the parking charge notice had already been cancelled and that confirmation of this had forwarded to us some weeks earlier (which of course we did not receive).0
