Don't bother jump through any more hoops, you have been paid, buyer has been refunded, ebay lost your parcel.

The fact is that your ebay and paypal accounts are now finished, whatever you do they won't be coming back, spend the money and use Gumtree/Fridayads/Preloved/Facebook etc

Update, akinika are now calling me everyday, sending text messages and emails and one actual letter..I've not answered any calls or replied to anything yet...but what actual powers do akinika have to get any money from me?

It's very rare that when a company passes collection to a sent collection agency that it will ever end in court. It's largely designed to frighten people into paying up without actually having anything to back it up with.
You have the right to answer the call and tell them not to call or write to you again as it is harassment. Tell them the debt is disputed (you don't have to explain why), to refer it back to EBay and if they call again you will report them to Trading Standards.

How come everyone is picking in OP?

Ebay have lost a £460 parcel, and are now trying to harass and cheat OP out of £460, despite this being a situation of their own making, and demonstrating that their own staff don't have a clue.

OP just ignore the phone calls, don't give in to the bullying, consider making a complaint to the FOS, or reporting ebay to the police for trying to obtain money by deception.

I don't think people are picking on the OP.

It's just that advice has been given and seemingly ignored, then another post from OP made about what to do with no reference as to whether they took on the initial advice that had been given.

The advice has not been ignored, in my experience trying to get any sense out of anyone at ebay is zero! It seems they are awkward on purpose... Anyway now the debt has been passed to akinika it's no longer anything to do with ebay is it?
As I've said before. If ebay gave me the parcel back I would have happily paid them the money back. But they are not having both!
I'll happily go to court because I have a copy of a signed Pod to the ebay hub which in my opinion is enough to say it's been delivered.
But in the meantime I guess it's a waiting game , just to see if akinika get bored or not?
