All our drivers are fully trained to offer you a friendly and reliable service. We also provide extra reach arm lorry's so we can get your skip over small fences and walls.

any decent contractor would have put a 8x4 sheet down before the skips arrival!........ on any surface!... can't believe that went straight down on a tarmac drive! that was always going to happen! skips will twist and move around before they are of the ground! appalling scenes!... id be taking to the contractor as I've always believed its down to the contractor to make sure the area the skips are going down on are adequate to take the skip.... skip companies don't drive around with a base for skips to sit on thats not their responsibility, probably in there T&Cs.... every building contractor knows of his responsibility to protect the work site from damage... same if a pallet of blocks or slabs are being delivered... get a board down!,just common sense really

hope it all gets sorted for you, i can totally understand your frustration!

I don't think a sheet of ply would have prevented this.

Yes I can very frustrated about it all but can't do anything anymore due to damage already being caused.

My main issue is that I don't belive the skip company can't take any responsibility for it due to the way they lifted it.

It's going to be a long drawn out incident. I just know it.

they could argue that it should have been sat on timber however this is driver/operator error all day long & as such it's the skip co responsibility

No due to it wasn't me who hired the skip. I believe the patio company have a contract.

Which does state all damage caused is no responsibility of the skip company. The usual term and conditions

they can't state that & a judge would throw that straight out, you can put whatever you like in t&c's but it must still comply with British law

They will deny it or refuse to cooperate, as with a lot of skip companies. Most of the time they get away with it.

This is what their insurance is for!

Yes I know. Prob worth me just taking it through a small claims court. How long do the small claims court etc take.

I don't think I should have to use my house insurance I want them to fix there faults.

One thing is needed and it'd a full resurfacing
