What's wrong with people maximising their income?
There's nothing wrong with maximising income as in http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/incomeMoney received, especially on a regular basis, for work or through investments:
But trying to maximise benefits because they can is another thing.
There is only so much benefit money to go round and should go to people who really need it. The more people that maximise because they can, not on actual need, the less for the ones who really need.0 -
I'm sure they would all rather not be disabled
personally it amazes me that CEO's earn unto 180 times more than their staff
You make it sound like people are being compensated for being disabled. Is a disabled person worth two or three times more than a non disabled person? There's the usual argument about disabled people having more costs, but it's certainly not true of all disabilities, and rarely to the extent that it would justify such a difference in amounts.0
