Donna Dynamo, I've updated your status.
My DH is off sick, he pulled muscle or something. It'll affect his wages. Oh well. Not good, given fact Christmas are coming. Then again, we've already started buying presents and I said I had no intention to have big bash this year. No need for big spending.

£80 just paid off making my total so far. £480/£1000.

Almost half way there. Not sure I have any chance of completing this but it has given me more focus than I would normally have. Will keep pushing on.
  • Have totally crashed, and gone back to my old ways of spending on the next acc.
Am very disappointed in myself, am going to have a good think about how to rectify the situation, think I am going to change my challenge into saving £100 to pay off the acc,I have managed £30 so onwards and upwards. Think I will carry on like this until it is at a reasonable amount to pay off. Hope that is ok.
    Big thanks and sorry
    Jan 2025 £26561.43/£0. I want to clear £9000 this year (2025)
  • Hi all, just paid off £1692.94 in a big chunk so have met my target. Going to extend that to another £307.06 target by the cut off date. Feels good :)
    January 2025 - Debt £20,006
  • Good evening everyone
I have just paid £800 so have also passed my target. An unexpected but very welcome windfall. £600/£1400.
I will still continue, I'm hoping to be able to add £500 more...well if you don't aim for the stars!!
    Onwards and upwards.
I have coin jars that I hide away so they aren't in plain sight so I never think "oh I'll just take a couple of quid out"...I've even stashed some notes away but don't tell anyone!!
I will count it up at the end of the challenge. A little bit dropped in or found roadkill really does make a difference.
    Bye for now
