Virgin card has arrived and it's 0% on balance transfers and money transfers for 39 months so until June 2019. I've readjusted my standing orders as I'm not going to get such a good paysip this month its so hard trying to budget when I don't know exactly how much I'm going to get from month to month.
In other news I've just done 15 minutes on the strainer, baby steps.MBNA 0% ends 10/04/2020 £15843

Have just applied for and been successful in getting dh a 0% virgin balance transfer card and its got the room for the whole balance to be transferred across from MBNA. I would just like to say that I had Hubby's permission for doing this and he was in the room with me. I have now taken both his credit cards out of his wallet and am going to put them away for safekeeping is cutting them up.
Jobs for today include walking into town to get some moneybags because my sealed pot containing my silver coins is full. Then I'll get another one and start again I'm going to put the money that I've got in the sealed pot into my 5% saver and then that's our spending money for center parcs in October sorted.MBNA 0% ends 10/04/2020 £15843

Well I didn't have as much as I hoped in my sealed pot but anyhow I've still managed to pay £50 off my MBNA card so the balance is now £2950 down from £3104 so that's £154 paid off it even before I get paid next week. I have replaced my sealed pot with 2 more one for my 5 & 10ps and the other one for my 20 & 50ps the £2 sealed pot remains untouched. Just going to set a standing order and direct debit up for my virgin card then I'm all set to go for when I get paid next week. Next week is going to be a busy one well really from Saturday this week until Saturday morning next week, going to be doing 6 shifts in 7 days.MBNA 0% ends 10/04/2020 £15843

Last night I counted up how much available credit/debt cards I have available to me and it comes to a staggering £25950 that is truly scary :eek: the damage that could be done if I went out a massive spending spree which I hasten to add I'm not. I want to be rid of my credit/debt cards by may 2018 if not before this is because I'm 40 then and I do not want to spend my 40s in debt, I'm going to do this by thinking do I actually need it or is it just that I want it.
I am not counting my car as a debt I need a reliable car due to me being the main driver and the main earner in the household we are looking at me having a lease car which works out cheaper monthly.MBNA 0% ends 10/04/2020 £15843

Been to the vets this morning with our puddy and she needs to have two of her back teeth out bless her so we need to budget at least £400 for that we're going to arrange it for when we're on holiday in June so we can both be with her, she's our baby although she's 14 now so knocking on a bit.MBNA 0% ends 10/04/2020 £15843

Well I've booked our princess in to have her teeth out next Wednesday reasons being we're both on days off together also I'm off the day before the op day of the op and day after the op so one of us will be with her. I just didn't want to wait until June and for her to be in even more pain than she probably already is, she's barely left my side today after her visit to the vets this morning currently snuggling on the sofa.MBNA 0% ends 10/04/2020 £15843
