I still have a fight on my hands to get any kind of compensation from vodafone.
you need to get this idea out of your head, and try to resolve the actual problem of the deactivated number (contractually Vodafone are actually allowed to change your number if they can show a reason why it has to be done), you might be able to arrange a small goodwill gesture (at least the line rental back for the time the problem has been ongoing and a little more).
You are just a normal consumer, you have no rights to consequential losses or compensation of any sort for loss of business.====0 -

Vodafone are pretty despicable but Lee isn't and his the only part of it who do genuinely help. Well Lee got my message at 8.04am Friday apparently, and I would assume he or someone else in his office works till 5pm? but never mind, I must have become overly cynical, what with Vodafone mangers telling me they would call me on my home line, and then never bothering, on more than one occasion over the last 11 days of this fiasco.0 -

Vodafone didn't just change my number without notice, they cancelled my whole account and now can't find it.
Regarding the consequential loses, are you a Solicitor,out of interest?0 -

You don't need to be a solicitor to know a consumer can't suffer consequential loss from a service they entered into as a consumer, you only need to read your terms and conditions (and perhaps heed what a number of people have already told you).
As you aren't really taking the advice anyone is giving, perhaps you do need a solicitor, why waste your time here when you already know it all, just go pay a solicitor to attempt to sue Vodafone for your losses...====0
