Why not get Voda to divert? We can do it here (and we do it often) using their ISAAC system? (I work in IT not customer svcs but I her them doing it a lot!).'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.
I have opinions, you have opinions. All of our opinions are valid whether they are based on fact or feeling. Respect other peoples opinions, stop forcing your opinions on other people and the world will be a happier place.0 -
I asked them if they could divert from my old number, but they said they couldn't. The old number was on an old system apparently, and has been deactivated, and they can't activate it on the new system. Believe me I asked them if they could do anything to get my old number back but they kept fobbing me off, saying "our error handling department can fix it in 24 hours". I heard the same thing over and over again for a week, before I gave up and went to O2. I have got my van re-signwritten and I am waiting for my new business cards, but I still have a fight on my hands to get any kind of compensation from vodafone. I have also heard nothing more from Lee in their social media department. I guess it was too much to expect anyone at Vodfaone to take ownership. There was a manager who was supposed to phone me back to discuss my complaint, on two occasions but I heard nothing. Vodafone just do not care about their customers.0

Well, since Lee only got your email on Friday and doesn't work weekends, what do you exoect?
Vodafone are pretty despicable but Lee isn't and his the only part of it who do genuinely help. How would you like to run around dealing with the daiky queue of new complainants on here and then despite gaving the courtesy to let you know he's received you email andcwill get back you be written off without a chance to do so?0 -
I know this doesn't fix your situation in the long term, but you can help yourself in the short term by getting a temporary number and contact your customers to give them your temporary contact details until it's sorted.
And if it doesn't get sorted, you can then turn your temp number into a permanent number0 -
You have already been advised that you will not be able to claim consequential losses on a residential contract for your business, the best you can hope for is maybe up to perhaps £50 as a goodwill gesture. No free lunch, and no free laptop
