Money still in my Halifax account when it shouldn't be

It sounds like a lovely problem to have to deal with - but I need advice!
Last Wednesday (05/08, a week ago today) I transferred some money from one of my savings accounts into my Halifax Reward Current Account. I then moved a portion of this money into an investment fund I hold with Fidelity. At the time, I received an acknowledgement from Fidelity and my available balance on Halifax decreased by the said amount.
Nothing else changed until yesterday when I checked my Fidelity investment fund and the amount I transferred had entered into my account. Happy days.
I then checked my Halifax account to see if my actual balance had been brought down to my available balance but it hadn't. My available balance had actually gone up to the actual balance - which is more than the amount of money I transferred.
I've since checked my Haifax account again today and the balance remains the same (despite one unrelated transaction coming out as expected).
So to summarise, a whole week after I instructed the payment, the money has gone into my Fidelity account and is fully accessible, yet at the same time there is no mention of any transfer on my Halifax account and my balance remains the same.
I don't know if this is important or not, but the amount of money transferred was over £1.000.
I have no idea what to do. Do I wait longer? Do I email Halifax?
Any assistance or insight would be lovely - thanks!

When are you expecting the money to clear in your investment account?
It sounds like you paid it via a debit card payment. It's not common for a company to put funds pending against your available balance and release them but still take the money but it does happen occasionally.
I would wait until the funds are cleared.
