Oh not been to springburn in yonks!!! Was it any good? I normally like the Fort to shop or bargain hunt in forge
if you live near Tesco in Shettleston thats where you get the belter deals for toys
xx
Yeah it was good, we like to just have a wee wander round then go for a coffee - not very MSE :money:
Oh is that Tesco good for toys, will need to keep that in mind when I am Christmas shopping for this year.
Already started on the birthdays for the kids.

You are so organised! I am going to be more like you for next Christmas, your early gift buying was impressive.
It sounds like you've been having a lovely time with friends and family, you certainly deserve it xx0 -
It has been great, I am dreading the 6am alarm on Tuesday though - it is gonna give me a shock
Today I am gonna have a nice bubble bath, read my book then get myself looking presentable. We are off out for dinner with my Mum, her BF & my sister tonight. Mums BF is paying so will be nice to get a free meal
I really need to get more strict with myself regarding the CC spends, we use a Sainsbury's CC to pay for all the groceries & petrol with the idea that it will always come in at or under £400 then we pay that in full every month, well needless to say I am not sure that has ever worked to plan :rotfl:
This is one of my big focuses this year, if I can't get that under control I will switch to paying that with cash, we use the CC so that we can get the extra Nectar points but if in the long run it is just costing us more money then it is pointless.
Next post - my 2016 round up!

2016
1. Spending money for 2016 cruise - DONE
2. Pay off ALL debt - £12,710.91 in total - NOT DONE
3. Start saving towards £1000 EF - NOT DONE
4. No unnecessary spending on CC's - NOT DONE
5. Cancel 3 CC's - DONE
6. Cancel catalogue - DONE
7. Save £4000 for Canada 2017 - ON TARGET
So as you can see from my list of 2016 goals I achieved 4 of them (counting the saving for Canada as I am 100% on target for this) but did not achieve 3 of the quite major ones.
Will do better in 2017.

2017
1. Pay of all debt by Christmas 2017
2. Save £8200.00 for future home
3. Lose 6st
Can already see that 2 won't happen because I didn't get rid of the debt completely in 2016. Will do the best I can then need to play catch up in the following years to make up for it.

You can do it Dolly
!
Do you have mini targets for each of these?xxDebt (1/9/14) £6,702.11 Debt free (30/11/2016) mortgage port- £70,077.82 and mortgage £126,517.39 o/s currently
Debt - £17,190.83 (29/7/22) now (19/8/22) £16,688.800 -
Yeah monz, gonna focus on my Barclaycard first as that has the highest balance. My Sainsburys card I can reduce each month with making savings on my groceries, so always take a list with me.
The weight loss I am gonna break it down into 7lbs goals.
The saving I will just need to wing it LOL
