Dolly I'm dreading going back to work next week. I didn't wake up till 8.30 this morning

I've eaten reasonably sensibly today, no alcohol and just a couple of chocolates. I've set my alarm for 7.30am tomorrow and got a spin class at the gym booked to try and get me back into normality!

  • Been a bit spendy the last few weeks, roll on January so that I can give myself a good kick up the behind & rap it!

Work tomorrow from 9am till 1pm then I am free till the 10th January!

I am gonna relax, have lots of bubble baths, meet 2 of my friends for lunch - it's gonna be great!

  • Hey PSL & monz,

    Happy new year!!

I have had a lovely week but quite busy.

Had NY Day dinner at our house, my Mum & her BF came but my sister & the little un's never made it as they weren't well. We had a lovely dinner but we missed them.

Spent most of the day when DH was cooking sorting out the visas & travel insurance for them both for when we go to Canada in May.

Monday went to my friends for dinner & drinks, good catch up & everyone came, couldn't believe it. There are always at least 1 or 2 who cancel last minute.

Tuesday was me & DH last day off together, we went to Silverburn for a wander (it was quiet) then nipped into Sainsbo's for some bits & bobs we needed for the week then home to chill out.

Wednesday I lazed about at home myself, watched a couple of movies, had a bath, read my book, had a nice dinner, watched some telly with DH.

Yesterday I met an old college friend for lunch then went to my sisters to spend some time with her & the little un's, was so nice to see them. Missed their wee faces.

I am up early this morning cos the boiler service guy is gonna be here between 8am & 10am so thought this would be the perfect time to come on here & catch up.

So that's me back! Will get an update on my debt totals later on, but I am good & glad to be back.

    Missed you all.
