If you can pick up neighbours Wifi but not your own it strongly suggests that either your router is located in some shielded position or possibly faulty in some way (maybe the internal antenna lead is disconnected) although the alternate router should had revealed that if it was the problem.

There are smartphone apps that show WiFi signal strength. Near the router they should be showing a very high signal level -towards the top of their green scale maybe -40dBm and certainly no worse than -50dBM.

See post 1: router has been tested at another property and found to be OK. So it's either channel clash or a factor such as building structure or router location.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

A later operator got me to change the channels several times which did not solve the problem.

Also tried changing the channels, wifi analyser, moving the router (including moving it to another socket and the same problem still exists)

At a loss really! Hoping the TP link will work

So what did WiFi Analyzer tell you? Are there loads of WiFi networks surrounding you? They'll interfere with the TP link too...

I think that the suggestion was to use the Ethernet ones, so no WiFi involved as they will be hard wired.

Most of the channels have 10 stars, the first two or three channels have maybe 8 or 9.

I have tried all of the full ones.

Everything works fine when wired by ethernet

Importantly - where are you doing this Wifi Analyzer test? It should be in the room you're having problems. How many WiFi networks do you detect there?

sounds strange but you or your neigbours don't have tv senders? The reason I ask is that I know ours used to knock theres off when used
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
