Customer action against Vodafone

Need some support..

I purchased a iphone 6 with vodafone contract in May 2015. There has been no mobile signal in my house since day 1. I have contacted Vodafone many times, and they are absolutely useless. They keep saying that there is a major issue with network in my area which they have been trying to resolve in the last 3 months. They tried to sell the sure signal, pay for me to have a cheap phone for home, credit for time I haven't been able to use the phone at home etc. That is not much of use for me as I need to have the phone work at home due to work related issues.

I have seen many people suffer from Vodafone's incompetence and unfairness. If we are paying for a service, we should get the full service, if there is no service, they should not charge people.

One solutions would if everyone affected starts posting on Vodafone's facebook / twitter and other social media pages atleast 3-4 times a day, they will not be able to bear with the constant negative feedback. All it takes is all the affected people to hit back at these unfair companies.

I have started this process by leaving negative feedback on Vodafone's facebook and twitter pages. I will continue to do it atleast twice a day, till my problem is resolved to my satisfaction - end my contract and refund money for the time I did not get the full service.

I would welcome any other sufferer's of Vodafone's incompetence to do the same. Let us give it back to them..

they have a magic delete and block button
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

They are perfectly able to bear. The overwhelming negative feedback is everywhere for years, but like you most people fail to do a basic research before engaging in a long and expensive contract.

You had 14 days to then cancel the contract. You need to take some personal responsibility and also gain an understanding that Vodafone don't give a s**t about bad publicity, you only have to read the forums to see that.

You can keep complaining to warn and deter other [STRIKE]mugs[/STRIKE] prospective customers, forget about trying to shame Vodafone, they are well beyond caring.

  • I accept responsibility for poor research and not acting quickly to cancel the contract. I will not accept that we should just let these companies rip us off by charging for a service which they don't provide...we should try a 'crowd solving' solution..the reason for posting on social media is not to shame the shameless but to warn off potential customers!!

Personally I can't justify vodafone's rip off charge for the sure signal box given that:
    1. They should have a reliable and usable network in the first place
    2. The sure signal box uses MY internet connection and MY electricity
    3. Other networks like EE and Three can do what the sure signal box does entirely through the use of software - EE have wifi calling (iPhone 6) and Three have their In Touch app

Vodafone should be ashamed of themselves to charge for the device.

Both EE and Three also use/used the sure signal type box, don't forget that WifiCalling is only available for certain phones and the inTouch app is pretty rubbish to use.

For pennies a month and a very small amount of data it sounds as if you were just being obstinate, if having good signal was that important most people wouldn't mind the insignificant amount of electricity and data used.

No network offers 100% coverage. Did you establish that Voda offered coverage at home before you took out the contract, if this is the place where you primarily need to use it? This is simply done using a free PAYG SIM. If you didn't, you've got no comeback.

MacMans right, more so no network guarantees coverage inside buildings, there's too many variable and possible issues due to the construction that they cannot make that claim. Concrete and re-bar can make an effective Faraday cage in some houses, all of which is beyond the networks ability to do anything about it.
