    Nope - I can't beat Queenie either.

Today - Got DS1 to school
    Dr.'s appt for me
Carted all the new gardening pots/shrubs/compost to bottom of garden and spent all morning potting them up etc.
Three loads of washing done and hung out
    Taken DS2 to pre-school
    More gardening
    Collected kids from school
    Put tea on to cook
Small amount of usual housekeeping type jobs (emphasis on small)
Mooched around on here whilst having tea break/lunch
Oh and stopped to watch Phil Spencer on Location x 3 :D

Tonight - must clean kitchen, do ironing and watch Corrie.

Thought I was good yesterday -- seems I could do better tho!!

    Packed everyone off to work/school.
    Changed 3 beds.
4 loads of washing out and in.

Scrubbed kitchen floor on hands and knees -soda crystals and squirt of washing up liquid as i've stopped buying floor cleaners.

Cleaned out the parrot cage, washed it all down and polished it all up to look shiny(using newspaper and vinegar) did the parrot appreciate it? No!!!

Spent the rest of the morning making stuff.....

    Chocolate chip cookies x 15
    Oaty biscuits x 24
    Mini Quiches x 12
Large quiche x 2 (for freezer)
    Chicken pie (last nights tea)
Chicken and veg soup (from HM stock) for freezer
Bolognaise sauce for tonight and 2 portions for freezer
1 batch of pastry for freezer
    1 normal loaf
1 batch of pizza dough for freezer.

Plus all the assorted washing, wiping, smearing, sprinkling and mulching envolved in a normal day.

Today however.....a quick hoover and dust through and started work at 8.30.

I would say I'll try harder tomorrow but then again..........maybe not eh!! :)

    Chocolate Ice Cream (Serves 4)
(more work than the above, but worth it!)

    300ml - 1/2 pint milk
    75g - 3oz sugar
    2 eggs, beaten
    75g - 3oz chocolate, melted
300ml - 1/2 pint double cream, lightly whipped
Put milk and sugar in a pan, heat slowly until the sugar is dissolved, then pour onto the beaten eggs, stirring constantly.
Return the mixture back to rinsed out pan and heat gently until the custard thickens, stirring constantly.
Strain into a bowl, then stir in the melted chocolate.
    Leave to cool.
Fold in the whipped cream, until evenly blended.

To Freeze: Spoon into a rigid container, then cover with foil. Seal, label and freeze.
To Thaw & Serve: Transfer to the fridge for about 30mins to soften slightly.
