today i have put spuds in the slow cooker so we had yummy baked potatoes for when we came home. Got up at 6.30 so I was up before the kids, washed self then dressed kids after having porridge made with water (don't like milk). Wipe littluns bum with a flannel instead of babywipes, stopped buying them - throwing money away! Fed the chickens. Walked to a business course (including FREE LUNCH) to save on the bus fare, got cheap cheese in town to go on the baked spuds, had a moment of celebration when i realised I still had 6 quid left in the food purse to last til friday:) got a carrier bag full of bananas for a quid.
Took the old clapped out bus home cos its 10p cheaper.
    Fed kids
    Fed chickens and collected eggs.
Off to make pasta salad for son's packed lunch, then do some ironing with my old fashioned heavy iron with the woven covered flex!

    Well done every one!

Today I've done one load of washing, tidied the house, finished painting the hall way, although it still needs another coat on some of the doors:eek: and I've run out of paint!
had a friend and her little girl around to play and hopefully let my little girl catch chicken pox from her. Made macaroni, ham, cheese and broccoli bake for liunch for us all.
cooked coq au vin for dinner ( £1.50 reduced chicken and left over wine).
tidied the garden and mowed the lawns. Had a bath, completed my online tesco shop and drunk some red wine and sat here amazed at the amount of work people put into their day:beer:

Today I've managed to make some rubarb chutney (free from neighbours garden), go shopping for food and spend £10 less than last week, and have saved a small fortune in therapy, by going to work and having a break from my chaotic household!

Wow, Queenie, have just come across your post. I was going to say you make me feel positively guilty - but of course that's not your fault at all, but mine!
Although I did start out with good intentions, got washing out & on line very early. Then along came our friend who's building the conservatory base & asked me to take it all down cos he would be cutting bricks.....
I did do some window cleaning & other housework (after he had gone) and even started to tackle Mount Never-rest (the ironing pile in the spare room)
Anyway, thanks for the ice cream recipes, they look very good.

Well before having time off for revision I would go to work 9-5 make dinner then revise for 3 hours. Clean for about 15 minutes. I try to fit in meditation and Yoga and make some sort of cake once a week. Oh and give OH some attention nudge nudge wink wink.

    Yesterday:

    Went to the Doctors

    Did the washing
    Emptied and filled dishwasher

Revised: Legal Practice, Conveyancing contracts, conveyacing procedures, criminal procedures, partnership Act 1890, company stuff. Last night went to my friends who is a conveyancing solicitor who gave me some tips and cooked me dinner! Had a bath.

Today have a huge migraine: revising family and Wills and Probate, Employment and if I have to civil lit. May have to have a lie down. I need a housekeeper like Queenie!!!!! Cannot afford one!!! Just remembered I have the dentist.
