One of my year 9s was disgusted at the idea of eating cow bum. (4od video called Animal Farm. Fascinating.) I asked her what she thought rump steak was. She squealed in disgust and went home and told her Mum who was shocked.

You can't make this stuff up!!

  • Things students say: Me - So, in the Elizabethan period, Twelfth Night was a time of great celebration and the people had parties which included disguising themselves, drinking and feasting, much like our New Year celebrations... Can anyone think of any other elements of party celebration that Shakespeare incorporated into his play of 'Twelfth Night'?
