Spoke to our Fabulous Farrier who is going to do Plops' shoes while we are away.
We have a pony sitter but Plops is so docile I don't think she will be a problem for him.
The combination of a great farrier and good hooves means that she only needs shoes every eight weeks.
I have a new phone and DD is putting up with the foibles of my old one. She is so excited she has to tell me about her screensaver every five minutes.
