  • Morning. Swimming for DS today and then beach.

Money will be spent on fish and chips and ice cream.

We haven't done the gutter clearing yet, either.

I know what you mean about washing everything in sight ... I've got one more bit to do of that, then *everything* except whats staying from the therapy room (ie the curtains) has been washed :)
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • It doesn't look so good today for drying.
Swimming has been cancelled so early beach.
  • Have a lovely day x
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
  • Thank you.
It cost us £25 for fish n chips and ice cream for 6 (we had DD2's friend guest starring) £2 for sunblock and £3 for DD1 flipflops.
We took our own beach toys/drinks/ketchup!

The car said 31° when we got in to come home.

Everyone went in the sea to varying depths!

I love a day at the beach. Productive as ever with the house, feel like we are going backwards here.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Sounds lovely. :) I wish we lived closer to a beach, ever since we came back from Cornwall, both my wife and I have been dreaming about moving there one day. Can't see it ever happening but one can dream.
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500
  • We don't use the beach as much as we should.

Cath I feel like we are going backwards too.

A three bed two doors away has just gone on the market for 55k more than our four bed. Same sized garden. Will be interesting!

Rallying today on Exmoor. Hard life!
