How much does a puncture repair cost?

I don't think I've ever had a puncture before, at least, I can't remember one. How much is a repair generally? I'll probably take it to National tomorrow as it's on my way to work, I want to make sure I'm not going to get ripped off.

There's a nail in the middle of the wheel, so hopefully should just be a straightforward repair.

I think I paid about £20 last time I had a similar type of puncture repaired, although that was at an independent where they just did it for cash, at a chain they may have a fixed price.

£5 maybe £50 depends where you go.

You can check the National website yourself for the phone number to check the cost.

    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

Over the years I've had three punctures repaired by Kwik-Fit, and have never been charged at all.

That sounds good, and a bit surprising given some of the things I've heard about KF.

    Just for the puncture.

The first time it happened it was a company car, so I assumed that they just didn't want to be hassled with the paperwork. However, the other times were my own cars, and at different branches so they didn't know me as a regular customer.

£5-£10 at my local garage for a straight forward repair, unfortunately my last one couldn't be repaired and I had to get a replacement so don't be surprised if yours can't be fixed.
