Welcome DFOD
Brilliant on the cars :rotfl:. DS goes by school minibus, so I can work longer hours if I need to and it gives him some independence - it's also MSE as cost is cheaper than I could do it in the car.
Thank you MiT - same back at you having 2 and those who have been or are a single parent, it used to be difficult to juggle everything when he was younger and I've only the one!
I've got to tootle off and tie up the paperwork side of the old office this morning and then I have a free day. Can feel a To Do list coming onBack on the DFW Wagon:

That's brill - this will be my 6th payout I think, it's got slow for the last 2, but then I've not been pushing doing things like surveys, but I've got more shared referral money (about £3).
All free money. Have you installed the Qmee bar? Really easy money there, just do usual search and it pops up with sites to click on which automatically add the pence to your pot. Can cashout straight to Paypal anytime. I must have had a good few quid from that too nowBack on the DFW Wagon:

I did a few surveys for a couple of months but got sick of it to be honest. Decided it was better to spend time on MSE than survey sites or dog walks to keep my steps high! But each to their own etc...MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0

Don't have to do surveys on IP - it's more 1p per search (max 15p a day), 1p per email ad clicked on (1 or 2 per day) and then there are sign ups that go from 30p to £2.50 and some other options too.
I used to do Nectar surveys, might attack a few more of those as got about £47 in points which pays for pre-Christmas family lunch for 20 relatives - and I don't shop at Sbugs as a rule either
Old office done and dusted and I've popped into town to put £25 into DS's other Halifocks account at 3% interest - idea being end of his reg saver, he'll have £1500 combined ready for Junior ISA and towards Uni. Parking cost 60p and walked fast to get back to car within the 30 mins :rotfl:
Next stop is the patio place for the water feature base. Means driving on fast roads and dual carriageway, so have taken a Beta Blocker to stop any physical panic symptoms and hope my eyes hold out(Background - this time last year, I had what turned out to be a panic attack whilst driving on a fast road, deemed to be caused by chronic stress. Still under investigation by a Neurologist at Kings in London, have had brain and neck scans, muscle and nerve testing, numerous optician visits as eyes haven't been right and I think that's what is causing the panic to come on and no end of blood tests that have mostly been clear, the odd one out by a tiny bit).
Just organised lunch with a friend for early next week (pre-wisdom tooth extraction on Wednesday) - we'll be off to Pizza Express and using another T3sco voucher for money off. I've promised to bake her a lemon cake, but needs to be gluten free, so rice flour now on shopping list.
And food shop to come too, DS is certainly eating me out of house and home at the moment.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Good going on the stamina with the clicks etc. I used to do surveys but gave them up as there seemed better ways to spend my time but I know some folk do really well at themMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
The good news - driving was fine today :j, the bad news - no water feature bases left in stock and supplier changed hands so none due in. A waste of 20 miles
Armed with manufacturer details, found a supplier online with free next day delivery so a spend of £65 later, it should be here tomorrow in time for DIYer to fit it on Saturday. Really hope that's the end of the garden spends, feels like it's been going on forever!
Financials today then:
- bank account checked - still a round number so no TT today
- freepostcodelottery checked - been 2 recently nearby, 3rd time lucky?
- Inbox Pounds - up at £19.42
- Qmee - yet to get off the blocks again
Got plenty to do, but waiting on a couple of Fr33cyclers to arrive to collect some stuff first then it's:
- Work out meal plan and write shopping list
- Food shop tonight as we're very low on milk and I like my cups of tea
- Colour hair (more like cover grey) from a box - saving a fortune on hairdresser costs
- Sort cinema out with DS and book tickets
- Catch up on work emails as even though I'm technically on hols now, I can't ignore them - it bugs me, and it might be work to diary for September.
Have already got mince defrosting as with rain forecast all day tomorrow, I'll have a cooking and baking day and get batches of chilli and bolognaise done for the freezer and the chocolate cake made I promised DS.Back on the DFW Wagon:
