Been getting to know my neighbours over here today. Was chatting nearly couple hours to one couple they really made me feel welcome to sit with them. Even offered a glass of wine which I had to refuse.

See I have nearly missed wishing mrs stinkface, perranlady and Naebbirac's DS Happy Birthdays. Best wishes to you all

But will he be having his hair cut before your adventure:eek:

    V x

Oh yes! He is not travelling abroad with me looking like he's wearing a Brillo pad :o (he inherited my curls and he has summer holiday growth)

Thank you for your very succinct synopsis of what I've missed :) I have also missed your posts as well. A cruise......how exciting :D Is the Mediterranean really ready for you 2? :p

I was being tongue in cheek about sacking my chef earlier :p he's actually been very supportive. He attended one appointment and the look of panic on his face made me leave him in the car for the next one, I gave up and went myself after that. But the thought was there.

He's also been feeding me :D :rotfl: a lot of the time. I was very shocked to get weighed recently and discover I weighed 52kg (don't know what that is in old money) I only get weighed at medical establishments because I have no scales. But I do remember the last time I was weighed I was at least 10kg heavier than that

That doesn't mean there's a happy ever after in sight. The support has just been very welcome. And it must be nice for him to have something to think of other than himself ;). Keeping a balance where the kids don't get used to it has been the trickiest part

I reckon its either MSC or a Costa ship

I was watching Rick Stein in Venice on TV last night - breath takingly beautiful city (and the food as well) and there was a clip of MSC Amonia sailing through the middle of it all - stunning
So if you are starting from Venice I will easily recognise it :)

DS and I went to Venice last summer, and we saw the tug boats pulling the huge cruise liners up the Grand Canal. I wasn't aware until then that the cruise ships went up the Grand Canal. It was a fantastic site to see.

Good to see you back and where does your ds2 fit into all of

    this :)

He doesn't.......yet  I really don't think my constitution could take his clinical opinion (aided by internet browsing) on my situation just yet :o He has no idea what's going on and all my appointments on the calendar are (white) lies because he does like to interrogate me about calendar entries. Who, where, why....etc.

So I've put things like bikini wax (I know he won't ask because he did ask what one was once once :rotfl:), eyebrow shape, facial.....etc.
Nothing he can actively spot isn't true like a hairdo :D :rotfl:

    Evening all.

Just asked DH to put a bottle of fizzy in the fridge for me, only for him to discover there is none! Will have to make do with a bottle of ordinary vino but quite fancied the fizz. Wonder when Mr T will have his next 25% off event, must be due soon?

I'm getting desperate too Ellie. Think I'm in the same boat as Munqui ....I need about a dozen for Bank Holiday weekend:eek:

Last year Ts had 25% off end jul as I remember picking some up to bring over here for the 25th anniversary party. I hope they are just late doing it this summer and not just missed it.
