Good Afternoon. Oops don't know what happened there but you get the jist.

Poor Riley got whacked on the forehead with a rounders bat by some bigger kid the other day at a play school thing  Dawn was in Manchester as she s training to be an accountant , his dad was in work and I was enjoying my free drink at Cafe Nero.

Dawn phoned me and I had to walk to the A & E to meet Riley there, then wait while he had 3 of those strips and superglue . So basically £18 for the priviledge of getting his head bashed in .not very happy but luckily he s alright.

    Good afternoon everyone.

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend, and not such a washout as expected.

I am off to Wales later this evening, with friends and family, as it is my "40th" birthday tomorrow.

One more week at work then off on holidays to Fuerteventura, I cant wait.

Me and DD3 signed up about 12.15pm but I didn't do DD2's until bit later as I was not sure of her email. I emailed DD1 the link bet she has missed it now.

Mixed bag of exam results...not quite what DS1 was expecting.
The subject he wants to drop was has become his best performer so thrown him into confusion...

...a few retakes next year and he should end up with the A level grades he needs but he never makes it easy for himself.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

I'm sure I noticed this deal on a blackboard sign outside the Nationwide building society the other day.
