I don't know if anywhere has any particularly good deals for comparison but I was doing a tic tac glitch shop (thanks Sad_Dad) and noticed the muller lights multibuy was missing on a.com so I've chucked some that I was buying anyway into the shop.

    Tick tock, tick tock

Yes I got 6 yoghurts with the jellies early doors this morning, I'm hoping to rinse and repeat later.

Will try and paste in a bit but yes it shows as 68p in sada and Tosco 50p :)

Just a quick one for anyone whos children/young adults who got a/s level results today,
Did any of yours do History?
my daughter got a A in english a B in sociology which im over the moon with but her history grade has us and her school baffled ?
she got an A only losing 2 marks on the russia part which is her weakest bit but a u on British history (she had had As in the mocks) giving her an overall C ,neither the school or us can work out how they got that grade so the school are requesting the paper back for a remark but im just wondering if it was the same for anyone else?

    Good morning all :)

Was going to have a BBQ today it was nice and sunny first thing. Now it looks like we are going to have a thunder storm :(

Will drag the BBQ in to the garage as we took meat out of the freezer last night :D

its not easy trying to find deals that would suit three people - we have a visitor for 4 days next week

I've been looking out for platter meals (with wine of course) but I would need to get one for 4 people - eating the extra and drinking extra wine would not be a problem :D

also afternoon teas and again I would have to get a 4 person deal. I found 2 offers near us - one in Hanley but it did not look like a nice setting and anyway it would mean going way off any of our normal routes. Also I found one at a garden centre but looking at the reviews on tripadvisor everyone was saying one sandwich, a dry scone and a mini cake did not make an afternoon tea, over priced and mis represented.

so I've given up on the afternoon tea idea and gone back to the easy and trusted ad hoc picnic idea :)

but dinner in a fish and chip caf! sounds lovely and something that we never usually do and I can get meals for just 3 :D

Nearly forgot what I came back to say :o

check your Sainsburys nectar accounts today as there are some new bonus point offers - some are ones you need to click on to activate.

OHs had none but on my account I had 320 bonus points for buying 2 lots of whiskas pouches any size :j
So I checked the price of whiskas pouches 12 pack thinking they would be good for a brand match shop. Then I saw that sainsbobs has the 6 pack of pouches on offer for £1 ( ie working out cheaper than buying 12 packs and cheaper than aldi cat food)
    so 320 points for a £2 spend.

I've also had John west steam pots activated for a while for 150 bonus points but they seem to be on offer for £1.50 this week so now is the time to buy.

It takes a long while for these to go onto your account - I've got one from last month to chase up - so hang onto the receipt incase of problems
