EE exploding power bars recalled

I took mine back to EE store in Caerphilly and the guy there said they weren't aware of the voucher 'scheme'. He also said your charger was free why should you get a voucher. I rang EE customer services and they weren't aware of it, I told them to get on to this site as that's what EE has told Money Saving Expert. The CS advisor said he wasn't permitted to go on line!!
Basically I was told no voucher would be forthcoming. What do I do?

Similar experience in Farnham, guy shrugged when I asked about voucher. Then he said my text was my voucher - the one that says "thanks for returning....", I guess, but seems unlikely.I took mine back to EE store in Caerphilly and the guy there said they weren't aware of the voucher 'scheme'.
Having looked at what was on the wall while I queued I'm not overly bothered!0 -
Myself and Mrs M have both spent our vouchers. Read my posts earlier in this thread if you have not been given a voucher.0
