EMAIL RECIEVED 17.11PM 1 minutes after i sent email to them
Dear Karen
Thank you for contacting Pet Supermarket.
Your case number is ******. We are currently receiving a very high number of emails, which is delaying our response time. We will endeavour to get back to you within 48 hours.
Kind Regards,
The Pet Supermarket Team
I got the same email three days ago and have had no reply so I have little confidence it will result in anything0 -
If you pop in MedicAnimal into your search engine and scroll down a look out for ....
"Pet Supermarket parent files notice of intention to appoint administrator" in Retailweek, you will find a write up on it all..............."Users on Moneysavingexpert.com said products bought in the last week have not been delivered and the phone lines are also down, while emails are going unanswered."0 -
Just received this e-mail from Pet Supermarket:
Please accept our sincere apologies that we have not been able to communicate with you sooner. Our Company has undergone a change in ownership, during which time we were unfortunately asked to cease trading temporarily and were legally bound not to communicate with anyone. It has been hugely frustrating for us to not be allowed to communicate with our customers during this time and it has also been disappointing to see some opportunistic competitors exploit the situation for their own benefit and some media speculate on the events.
We sincerely apologise that during this time there has been a delay with processing your order, especially because we know the products we sell are so necessary and important to your pets. We were unable to take delivery of product while undergoing this process which in turn made it impossible to fulfil your order in a timely manner.
We apologise that during this time there has been a delay with processing your order. We would like to advise you that your order will be shipped or part-shipped by Monday, with any outstanding items being cancelled and refunded within the next 7 days.
As an apology for the inconvenience we have caused you we are also offering you a 20% discount on your next order by using the code, SORRY20.
Our website will be back online shortly but we first wanted to address you directly as soon as we were able to finally communicate on the situation.0 -

It's not good news at all.
I have now purchased my orders from another site.
So I no longer want my order sent from pet supermarket.
Neither will I ever buy from them again.
I have emailed them tonight,to tell them not to send out the order, and that if they did,I wouldn't accept it.
No doubt they will ignore my email, and send it out.
If the company was struggling before,do they really think people are going to use them in future, when there are plenty of good online pet suppliers.0 -
Well it seems MedicAnimal is now up and running, have just signed on and retrieved my invoice0

I'm a single pensioner on a very tight budget - I ordered a large bag of Burns dog food for my 2 dogs in order to save money - obviously it has not arrived and I am now struggling again to feed my dogs as they cannot process cheap dog food. I paid by debit card but my bank said that I cannot even put a claim in until the 14th August as the company needs 2 weeks grace for delivery.
So it will be quite a while before I get a refund meanwhile I'm out of pocket by £42.00 and struggling.
Is there anything I can do to speed up the refund process.0 -
I've just clicked on the Pet-Supermarket website and its up and running today ?????? how can this be when its applied to go into administration? It is probably ripping off more unsuspecting people!0
