My parents had a picasso, it was nice to look at but boy did it keep going wrong! We got this fault sign come up all the time about something, if i remember rightly it kept stoping for no reason aswell. It was totally rubbish and cuased more hassle than anything.
It might have been a dudd one, but that is our expreience!0 -
I've had problems with mine too. It struggles to start when it is cold.
I love the space
The only other negative I have is the view is obsecured when looking to pull out at roundabout etc due to the metal frameGive me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.0 -
I am on my second Zafira and I just find it is so economical, reliable, roomy and easy to drive, it has a slightly higher driving position... my grandchildren love to sit in the two extra seats that fold up from the boot, when they are not in use the boot is huge, and the back seats not only fold down they slide forwards make a huge area to carry large items..... its very versatile and easy to change around.... I would recommend it and they are quite reasonable to purchase second hand....#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

i bought a second hand zafira in March of this year - two adults and two kids here too. i realy like it and it was very reasonably priced

we have a renault grand scenic and so far(she says crossing her fingers) we can't fault it. it has the 2 extra seats in the back when we need them, they fold down flat in to the boot, which is large.even with the seats up the boot is larger than similar types of cars.and what we find useful is all 3 of the middle seats adjust independantly.Lead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0 -
hi
i bought a picasso 5 weeks ago after trading in my trusty mondeo. i bought it from arnald clarke so it was supposeed to be A1 when bought after all the checks ect they are SUPPOSED to be carried out. i drove it out the garage and it was clunking so they had it back in and it was the steering kna

then a week later the exhaust so in in went back again. then it was cutting out and overheating cause there was no coolant in it and the fan thingy was bust.
well, we are off to blackpool tomorrow and put it this way, I HAVE BREAKDOWN COVER lmao0 -
Try a Honda Jazz, very reliable and quite roomy.

We've got a Honda FRV. Three seats in the front and three in the back, so loads of cabin space.
Flexible seating & very reliable.Today is the first day of the rest of your life0 -
I love my Picasso. It's nearly 2 years old and *touch wood* have had no problems yet. The space is great, I love being high up (being a shortie it really helps with visibility) although a previous poster was right about the bar down the middle of the window making it a bit awkward at roundabouts etc - you need to check very carefully!
A friend of mine has a Zafira and another has a Touran and both speak very highly of them. However, what really made us go for the Picasso was that it was 3 years at 0% interest.0
