Sliding rear doors are fab too when getting little ones in and out of car seats.

I've had no faults or problems average almost 600 miles to a tank of diesel (2.0 engine). The oomph isn't there like a traditional car but I put that down to being diesel.

The lack of oomph you describe is probably down to the dreadful 90BHP HDI engine in earlier models, not the fact it is a diesel. An asthmatic ant carrying heavy shopping up a 1 in 10 hill would have more performance (apologies to any asthmatics!).

Modern diesel engines develop more power than their petrol counterparts.

Had to speak up, I'm a diesel head (Saab 95 2.2 TID, Mercedes E300 Turbo Diesel).

We've got a Honda FRV. Three seats in the front and three in the back, so loads of cabin space.

    Flexible seating & very reliable.

Ohh same here its the best car we've every had. We've got 4 kids so need the seats but I would've had this for 2 kids if it was about then.

i wouldn't know anything about that but it's always amusing to see friends trapped in the back whenyou give them a lift because they haven't figured out they work!

but on a practical basis they're great for loading and unloading too. I've got the 2l diesel model from a couple of years back and the performance is more than adequate too, although it postiviely drinks diesel if you start getting overexcited and putting your foot down a lot.
  • In my area the Picasso is obviously well loved, there are lines of them in all the roads sorrounding the primary school, its like the poorer persons chelsea tractor!
We have a Meriva which is fab, just the right size for us, we have driven all around France in it with our two DD's. I am trying to talk OH into buying a Zafira though....
