Is the issue restricted to users of the old style format ?

Certainly the non-responsiveness of links is. Not sure about the slow running and timeouts over the weekend is. Would be interesting to hear from others. Although, touch wood, things appear to be loading fine just now.

Yes, it's been almost constant over the weekend. It's bad enough that everything is non-responsive unless you click on it several times but pages hanging and timing out is making the site unusable.

Anyone would think they're purposely trying to p!ss off the old format users enough to give in and use the new site. That will never happen here. I'd rather leave the site entirely as the new format is unusable as far as I'm concerned.

despite using dif browsers & using the old & new format
am still getting timed out & cannot display etc.

  • I'm getting timed out messages on the new style forum via chrome on both my laptop and my android phone. It's been going on intermittently for a few days.
Grateful to finally be debt free!

OK here this morning on both versions, but I may be by fluke missing any short slow downs.

seems to be steady now at the moment but earlier on from
around 6.30 this morning it was timing out on/off
    every 15 mins or so.

I've had it for the last 2-3 days. Sometimes slow, sometimes the connection times out and I get an error message.

It's them, not me, I know that .... but I figure I'm not missing much.

Yes, started Thursday here and most definitely MSE end, or at least load and routing to them.

Still happening although not as often as previously so far.

Same here. All my other forums are running fine.

Yes I have been experiencing this.

    .....and me...I have been too.

I am wondering whether its to do with latest anti-spam measures.

Its not acceptable for a "lightweight" site (as far as I am concerned). My browsing pattern is the "serious"sites and then diving back, at intervals, to catch up with threads I am following.

A slow response doesn't match a quick "dive back" and instant going to page I require.

I've found it alternates between two "pushes of the button" takes me through to where one "push of the button" should take me and it goes on...and on...and on and I leave the site and think "Blow it".
