Windows 10 not allowing certain things to go on-line issue?

The only anti virus I have is windows defender which comes with W8.1 and W10, everything works fine until I do the W10 upgrade from W8.1 that's when the problem occurs as soon as my PC loads into W10 for the first time after the upgrade the only way to solve the issue is to rollback to W8.1.
As for the proxy and VPN settings they would be the same as they are in W8.1 ie I don't have them.
Windows defender !
Get a decent AV and sweep it (W 8.1) along with malwarebytes and see what turns up.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -

I don't have any problems with W8.1 it's only when I upgrade to W10 the problems occur, I thought I had already explained that?0 -

It's an upgrade and not a clean install. There may possibly be issues created by your previous configuration, as you are getting shirty may I suggest looking for further info here:

"Getting shirty" really????
A simple "I don't know" would have sufficed rather than you "getting shirty" about my perceived shrtyness!0 -

I've got Malwarebytes and run it frequently to check and I am in the process of running it now and it's found nothing so far, OK.0 -

Thank you, feed back on proposed solutions is helpful to the proposer as we can continue with the process of elimination.
If nothing turns up, then try w10 upgrade again but then follow this procedure after you have fully completed the upgrade if the problem persists:

Edit:
PS windows defender (formerly MSE) has a terrible detection rate, I would suggest changing it for for one of the decent free AV solution such as avira, avast avg or similar.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -

..t'other two are ok though......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -

I have tried other antivirus but unless you are prepared to pay for them they are next to useless, I will stick with Windows defender it does the job and is completely free, I will try the recommendations suggested when I get time and if that don't work I'll stick with W8.1 as that works perfectly and I ain't really got the time or inclination to keep faffing about trying to upgrade to W10.
Also malwarebytes found nothing untoward.0
