I've heard good things about Murad on YouTube. Please post a review when you start using it?
Val, it's fantastic, it arrived first thing this morning, so it went straight on and oh my goodness, what a joy to apply. It's like velvet.
Really lovely consistency, no greasiness, no heaviness, feels so lovely. No reaction from my eyes to the SPF, which has happened with one or two products.
Here's a link to my more indepth review up on Am@zon, it's the only one so far, so it will be interesting to see if others share my opinion.

I have also mentioned before that I'm starting to let go of clothes that just don't fit or just at the end of their lifepsan and I managed to let go of 1 dress that frankly just doesn't flatter me. So off to charity that goes for them to re-sell or to rag.
I watched a documentary recently called True Cost and it made me really understand the consequences of fast fashion and so I have decided to not buy any new clothes for this entire year and to really downgrade my clothes and only buy good quality fabrics that will last me years. Wish me luck!
Good luck momobingu, I have been accumulating shoes, clothes, bags etc over the last 5-6 years without considering whether I do need them or not and at some point, I realised I had to stop. Firstly ,it is really liberating to get rid off stuff. Also it gives you a sense of control.
I have donated many items to charity and sold some of them and despite that I still have loads. So much so that I struggle to find something to wear most of the time as I'm unable to find anything in my wardrobeally.0 -

AND - This sounds lovely, have you considered doing "the half face test" for a couple of weeks against one of your usual products?
I have very sensitive skin, added to the fact that I am 66 and need good ingredients and formulas to battle the ageing (I am not obsessed, just want to look the best I can), inevitably a lot of the products I like are expensive. When trying to find a cheaper product I often do this test to help me decide. Everything has to have passed the non-irritation test first of course, if I cannot blag a decent sized sample from the beauty counters I often buy smaller sizes from *bay, to reduce the outlay. Even "wrong" products get used up on some bit of me, but it can be such a costly exercise. The worst thing is when I have used something happily for months or years and then I get a reaction:(The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

That would be an interesting exercise, thank you. I may try that. I will see what the Murad does first, over a couple of weeks.
The other week some of you mentioned applying facial moisturiser to your neck at the same time as your face.
Now, I've always done this, right from the days of being a 29 year old applying Oil of Ulay lotion, as it then was.
Setting aside false modesty, at 57, my neck isn't looking too bad, it has only shown signs of ageing in the last 18 months or so, with some slightly loose skin at certain angles.
I have a good friend whose face looks a good 10 years younger than her neck, which she hasn't protected in the same way over the years. The neck - and hands - are an age giveaway.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Hello ladies!
So I have 2 INs and 1 OUT, all of which are Mitchum Anti Perspirent Deodorant.
In other news, it is highly likely that I will be moving soon, so I've started packing. I thought my toiletries cupboard in the bathroom where I keep all my unused toiletries would be an easy place to start so start there I did and OH MY :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:! The amount of (perfectly good products - either HG or as near as) I have accumulated is quite spectacular. It's a whole large Stack and Store box full (and I do mean full)!
Since I graduated I have tried only to buy my HG products and I do buy them when they are on special offer. I try to have 3 in stock. I think I may reduce this to 2 from hereon in, seeing how much stuff I've got!
I guess the advantage is that if I move I will not have to buy any for absolutely AGES (which is good, as I am likely to be broke for just about the rest of my life!)Please call me 'Pickle'

Hi all.

Ah ok! Have you used them though?
I've used a little off the top of each one, I don't think you could tell but I'd feel guilty selling it as I wouldn't be happy if it was the other way around. My debt free diary
