Off to a good start
Toothbrush needed replacing, so that's UU #1
I've been using an old Av0n roll-a-soap instead of shower gel for a while (dread to think how long I've had it, but wasn't prepared to save if for GDs or OH's niece in case anything in it had 'turned'), and it ran out of me this morning - so that's UU #2Cheryl0 -
Hi All,
I'm in for another month. Looking forward to getting rid of a few more bits and pieces. I have a slightly different approach this month - I have been targeting things that are already opened or only small quantities so have been getting through them quite quickly. This month I am going to start on a mix of both. I have put a box on my dressing table with all the products I am allowed to use for the month and everything else I have put away in drawers. Hopefully this will force me to stick to what's on the list and get through all these items that i am tired of looking at around my house.
My list is quite lengthy this month but anything with a * means I hope to use it up within the month, anything without is probably too big or too full for me to get through entirely so will roll on to next month afterward.

Thanks for starting the month off, Pickle.
With my DS having moved out, I have been able to refill my handwash dispensers with an unloved Avon warm fig and vanilla bubble bath. It is a bit too feminine a scent for a 32 year old bloke.
It's been sat in a storage unit unopened for well over a year. So that's a couple of quid saved this month, already. :money:
It also means that I will be able to use the Aussie "pink bubblegum" shower smoothie up as handwash, that one is definitely too feminine.:pErma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Here's to another month, thanks for kicking it off, InaPickle.

Also melted 4 lipsticks/crayons (1 calvin klein lipstick, 2 ted baker crayons and 1 I7 crayon) -so they are out- and I have now a lovely new pot of lipstick - however finish wasn't flawless :P It didn't set flat so looks a bit messy ^^ally.0 -
First uu of the month:
Beautilicious vanilla body butter 50ml - Wnba I love the packaging but not the product! Smells nice but was a pita to rub in as it just wouldn't sink in. Took ages to rub in which is a nightmare in a hurry. Wasn't the most moisturising I've used either. Much preferred the body lotion version to this. It was actually more a cream than a butter.
I've put out a body shop satsuma 50ml to use now.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Off on hols tomorrow so taking my La Occitane minis gift bag given to me by my lovely daughter for mothers day. She is an impoverished uni student who saved up for weeks to buy it. Came home for the summer and saw the gift bag still sitting on my dressing table - 'I GAVE you that to USE!'uh oh Since it's all lovely rich moistering stuff will be just the job. Surfing wrecks havoc on my hair though I have to say as long as I remember to moisterise it makes my skin lovely, clear and glowing! I will also be taking a big bottle of cheap conditioner. My step mum is aussie and a marine biologist, she said she would rinses her hair in conditioner everyday after diving.
Will update with a Aug. PP list when I get back.
Have a lovely holiday shandyclover. I know what you mean about student attitude. My daughter is at college and has a part time job. Was ironing her waistcoat the other day and she warned me to be careful with it as it costs money! I asked her if she thought all the clothes she's been given over the years have been obtained freely?!Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
