Hi ladies - I'm a little behind after quite a busy weekend, but I do have another UU:

    - small pot of Lancome Tropiques minerale Bronzing loose powder. WMBA - despite the tiny size, this lasted ages! I'd sprinkle it onto my compressed face powder to get the right shade, which is my preferred way of shade matching (I am not buying multiple clinique face powders just to have the right shade in any given month!). I'm working through a few other bronzers I have at the minute to see how I feel, but I've really enjoyed using this, and it's a great colour - not at all orange.

So the Footner socks...! In the end my feet were peeling for 4 days, though the first and last were pretty minor. I looooooove the result though - fresh baby like skin all over my feet, including the toes. It hasn't got rid of some major callouses, but that's ok. I've now booked in with a chiropodist to see what they can do, and my feet look so much better overall - so the problem areas are more obvious too! I'll definitely use them again, I think they're possibly a good way to get your feet ready for the summer, but once or twice a year is enough.

There was no real mess - but I washed my feet at least twice a day when peeling, and scrubbed with a scrubby mitt or sponge, so it all seemed to come off then, nice and controlled. And while I didn't wear sandals at any point, I was very comfortable wearing my usual cute pumps, without worrying about any obvious peeling.

dolly84 - I'm using a sample of that Clinique serum at the minute, and I really like it too. Very impressed.

Re. beauty boxes, I just signed up to 5 months of BirchBox on a special offer :o
It was £35 for 5 months, including delivery, and I had a look at the August one before ordering, and it had 3 things I definitely knew I would use, so I went for it, ooops! I've already put a reminder in my phone to cancel it at the end of the 5 months though.

And for those talking about the coloured Urban Decay pencils - I got a set of 12/15 too! Ages ago, and they're still going strong. I use all the colours, though some more than others.
I don't use the black though, I gave it away - it smudged far too much on me and gave me terrible panda eyes. I'm now using a Barry M black eyeliner with a tiny it of silver glitter in it, and I love that. The UD colours stay put really well though, and I really like the range. I think I got it on special offer, and it's definitely been one of my best beauty buys.

Do other toiletaries stashers also have a big stash of painkillers and the like?
I know the toiletaries are not the only reason why I have two bathroom cabinets, two big shelves - all of which are stuffed with things - and a new four stage wire storage thing - about to be unpacked and set up - for one person,

I do stash painkillers a bit, but that's because I usually need to take them every day. My arthritis has stabilised and I've grown used to the pain levels so I ditched the powerful prescription pain killers (diclofenac, Tramadol) in favour of paracetamol, aspirin and ibuprofen (the last two in moderation as they can irritate the tummy). I still take prescription Naproxen once in a while, along with fish oils. I was given some glucosamine to trial so I've got that too.
My stashes aren't all in the bathroom though. I have some in the lounge and some in the kitchen cupboards.

On topic, I've got some freebie Argan oil enroute. I am trying to persuade myself that I don't need some Garnier skin cream. It doesn't have SPF so I will probably not succumb.

Painted my nails with Ciate Ivory Queen last Thursday evening and finished off with Essie GelSetter - i can say GelSetter does the trick and didn't even have to use it with Essie nail polish. Today took them off as one of my nails broken slightly. There wasn't much shine left of it too.

As a forum (and thread) newbie, I have a small manifesto -

    1. I will stop watching Lisa Eldridge 'How To' videos and coveting all of the products!
    2. I will take stock of my toiletries and use what I have before buying new!
    3. I will treat myself to a new tube of Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Cream (the HG of all HGs in my opinion) when I've used all of the products on my bathroom shelves!*

    * I have actually picked up a tube twice this week and then (reverentially) put it back on the shelf. With tears in my eyes .....

Oh yes, I have a bedroom drawer full. I have a spinal condition and arthritis though so I take a lot of painkillers everyday - gabapentin, codeine, ibuprofen etc. I also stash a lot of things I've accumulated for various things, I'm useless at throwing stuff. I've got enough to open a chemist. I'm resident chemist at work lol if anyone needs a painkiller they come to me. I've always got paracetamol etc. Dressings, antiseptic creams, bandages, antihistamines, various cough remedies, even antibiotics you name it there's some in my drawer :p

An unexpected uu tonight, Avon foot works heel softening cream - WBA this is nice and thick consistency and does a nice job.

    Hello again ladies!

Well, I'm not around for months and then look what happens! ;)

Another UU: Home Bargain own brand Dry Shampoo.

WIBA? Yes - seems to do just as good a job as Baptiste, although I have a few stashed in the cupboard so I won't need to (yet).

I hope you are all well. Alas, I have to post 'n' dash but I have a busy few days ahead of me and I need to get my [STRIKE]beauty[/STRIKE] anti-ugly sleep! :rotfl:
