Are investment buyers good?

  • We've already been offered £235k. Prices in this area are quite high (I know you quoted the sold prices link however I failed to see how you arrived at £225k. Mid terraced houses with sloppier layouts were reaching those prices in Dec and ours in a semi with the best curb appeal on the street as we benefit from a corner plot.

I always thought £250k was ambitious and had to put my foot down with EAs to reduce but I feel that the house is now fairly priced, especially as it's presented well (ive asked for photos to be redone now that I've taken on board comments from previous thread).

best of luck to you, I hope you get the house you want!

My next door neighbour has just put hers on, 2 bed, at 40k more than I just sold mine for. I tell you, I live in a very odd village where some people market flats at more than 3 bed houses and are led to believe by EAs that prices have shot up by 45% in 2 years.
