Are investment buyers good?

Rather a sweeping statement....I've never done that as an investor
I accede it is a rather sweeping statement, my point is that an investor has little to nothing emotionally invested in a property.
The whole transaction amounts to little more than numbers on a spreadsheet if you're buying as an investment. If you're buying to live there it means a hell of a lot more than that.0 -
Thanks all, I suppose there isn't aclear cut answer and its down to luck! Ideal scenario is that the cash buyers tomorrow offer quickly. It's pretty stressful all this isnt it!0

Yes, we're in the later stages of buying/selling now. Will hopefully complete late August but still on tenter hooks until exchange.0 -
Oh congrats!
I remember how stressed I got as a FTB, mainly worrying about the mortgage being accepted. What I would do to not have to sell as well this time!
Good luck0 -
Is is the Witney one?
Your investment buyer will offer at most what the FTB has offered. If he does it for a living, he will know its 25k overpriced i'm afraid.0 -
We've reduced our asking price by 10k and that's bringing it in line with less desirable areas so I'm confident we are actually marketed undervalue now. There's a house on our road with a less spacious layout, mid terrace, on for 2.5k under ours.
If he offers less then it's a no brainer- we will go with the FTBs0 -
ahh, i missed the reduction in price. Seems to have pricked some ears up and increased viewings. If you are at 235k then, you should get 225k.0
