I started the process to create these discs. W7 asked me to wait until it completed a splitting process. It got to 75% and then said that it had detected a CD creation problem and stopped the process. Could that have just been because I hadn't yet put a CD in the drive? I had assumed that this would be the next instruction. It has terminated the process. I am using DVD + R discs0 -
disk in drive before you start....or maybe the cd drive and/or burning software doesn't like +R format disks........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Still, the argument is now mute as the future is here and it works well and has some nice additions to older systems.
To the OP. There is nothing to be scared of. Give it a go, you can always revert back to the dark ages if you still don't like it. At least you will know why you don't.;)Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

W8.1 was fine if you made the effort to work with/Learn the differences. The main limitations of the system were operator generated IMO.

So absolutely nothing to do with Steven Sinofsky (the fall guy) being responsible for the worst and most illogical fisher pricesque GUI in ergonomic history ? :think:Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0
