Best way to get currency before leaving UK?

The Halifax Clarity Credit card is said to be good for purchases and cash withdrawals abroad, but can I get currency with it before departure?
If so, where and how?
Or is there a better way to do this?

” This can only be done fee-free and at the MasterCard rate in the multi currency ATMs of Moneycorp, which are in the main southern UK airports and some rail stations.

When the screen offers you the choice of "With Conversion" or "Without Conversion" you MUST choose "Without Conversion" to obtain the Mastercard exchange rate instead of Moneycorp's awful rate.

That's what I thought, but it's not a typical credit card, and Martin Lewis's comments seem to include getting money with it before departure.

Re other reply, no Moneycorp cash machines round here.

I was hoping for some alternative suggestions, e.g. some people use Marks and Spencers.

I disagree. The interest will be just a few pence, and can be avoided if you pay off the cash withdrawal within a day or two of making it. Very easy to do with a mobile banking app.

Hmmm, using Cash machine at destination may be the best option.

That sounds like a good simple solution.

Anyone had good experience of getting Euros delivered to home in UK?
